Leather + Stripes

With spring FINALLY here that may come to mean I can no longer get away with wearing my favorite black leather skirt.  It's one of my favorite pieces, and lately I've been drawn to the leather pants/shorts/dresses trend.  I'm pondering ways to incorporate this skirt into my spring wardrobe without it looking too heavy/out of season.  Any suggestions? Oh, and I'm really hoping some of these leather leggings/shorts I'm spotting go on sale once I can shop again...
